Music offers a wonderful medium of praising and worshipping our Lord! Our goal is for our music to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ and to encourage others to praise Him. God is pleased when we offer Him our best.

The Praise Choir keeps this goal in mind as we aid in congregational worship. Through music, we encourage each other to grow spiritually. We edify each other to grow in our understanding of God's word and obeying it. During rehearsals, we spend time praying for and with each other.

The choir is a "small group" that gets to work together in ministry. We encourage others to join - "the more the merrier"! We strive to grow musically in order to serve Him. Our practices are Sunday nights at 6 PM.

Praise Team and Band members act as worship leaders, drawing the congregation in to greater levels of worship and praise. Our practices are on Monday nights. Soloists have an opportunity to sing or play instruments for special numbers during the collection of the offering, prelude and postlude.

The congregation is encouraged to sing joyfully to the Lord during the praise songs and hymns.

Colossians 3:15-17 is our guide:

"Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him."
